Michigan election inspectors, as reported by the RNC: "We have received credible reports from across Michigan that election inspectors are telling voters that, if they vote a straight party ticket, they may not cross over and vote for a candidate from the other party."

The Truth

Michigan's constitution gives every registered voter the straight-party option and the right to split the ticket on the same ballot. A vote for one candidate decides that race, and the party pick fills every other partisan race. As of 9:45 p.m. EST, no state or county election office had confirmed that any inspector gave voters that instruction.

The Text
