The Other 98%: "Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio are reporting difficulties getting the machines to accept Democratic votes. The machines change them back to Republican unless the voter persists, pressing several times to get the correct vote to go through."

The Truth

Voters in Tennessee and Texas told reporters a touchscreen marked a candidate they did not pick, and officials in both states traced those cases to stray or missed touches. Tennessee's Secretary of State had one such complaint among about 400,000 early voters by Oct. 20. The reports PolitiFact cites name no Florida or Ohio voter, and the machines involved print a paper ballot the voter reviews before casting it.
